First day of school for the 2019-2020 school year for Minoro Elementary was June 3rd! 119 school kids attended the first day but they anticipate a few late enrollments near the end of the month.
Late May we sent two large boxes over to Minoro that included school supplies, learning and enrichment materials, backpacks and t-shirts for the students of Minoro. When I was there last December, Administration gave me a list of items needed, and we were able to fulfill most all of that list for the 2019-2020 school year along with some additional items! Expected delivery date is sometime early August! Two months is the standard delivery time when shipping large boxes via cargo ship.

The first feeding also took place for the school year! We have promised Minoro we would provide monthly feeding for the 2019-2020 school year. Many of the parents asked if this would be provided again this school year, and were very happy and appreciative to hear it would be.

We’re so excited to be able to support Minoro Elementary for the 2019-2020 school year, and there’s absolutely no way this would be possible without the love and support from our donors. We will continue to post updates and stay connected. There’s still one large project we are still gather logistics and funds for. We will also be visiting Minoro Elementary late November of this year. More to come on these items in the near future.
